Actually theres a funny story behind me KNOWING that goats need more copper than even cattle do.

NC State(I believe- it was a LONG time ago) was doing some research on new ways to test for copper levels on live animals(tried and true was liver biopsy)
Instead of using cattle it was cheaper and easier to use goats to overload with copper- then double check their blood results with liver results.
Problem was that they couldn't get the goats to overload on copper - even though they gave them massive amounts of it.
ruined their research.
