Near-north Ontario, French River | We only have 27ft bins, and our sweeps are hydraulic drive but we've left them in for years with no problems. All we do is take a heavy rope, tie it to the wall end of the auger and lift it up, tying it to a small bracket just inside the man door. When grain is low enough we just open the top section of the man door, undo they rope, hook up the hydraulic hoses and away it goes. Even half buried the auger had no problem starting up. Did the same thing for years with electric drive sweeps as well, only thing we did different with the electrics was to wrap the motor inside some heavy plastic sheets to keep dust/dirt/grain out of the motors cooling fan before filling. Never had an issue, just preferred to make our own sweeps.
