NW IA | 1 lb ground beef
1 c. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, mashed
1 lg can whole tomatoes
8 oz can tomato sauce
6 oz can tomato paste
½ c. wine (anything you have in the house, red, zinfandel)
2 Tbsp Worcestershire
1 tsp salt
1 tsp basil
1 tsp oregano
3 drops tobasco
Brown ground beef with onion and garlic. Add rest of ingredients and simmer 1/2 hour. Serve over favorite pasta. ****You could purchase low sodium tomatoes, tomato sauce and tomato paste plus cut down the salt in the recipe. **** | |
