NW Washington | The thermostat won't turn on the heat unless the sensor senses a temperature cooler than the thermostat is set for. So if either of them senses a need for heat it is going to come on.
That said, the electric system is usually also has a clock so that the heat only comes on when the room is being utilized. Call Josh at this place, as he deals with this stuff all the time.
