Western Wisconsin | We run our 3975 with a 3 row 30" head behind a 4840 Deere, and have a terrible time keeping from knocking the corn down with the axle. We even cut the axle off to help, and just last year I built a bar that goes from the frame, to just outside the axle to bend the corn over. That seemed to help a ton.
I know that Dion makes a rotary (kemper style) head for a pull type, but the 4 row does not fit deere, only the 3 row. http://www.dionmachineries.com/eng/dion_products_corn_head.php
Lancaster Parts and Equipment has a few new in stock, but cost an arm and a leg to get. They also might know if you could put a 4 row on a deere. http://www.lancasterpartsandequipment.com/ | |
