I got one last year. It works well. The only pitfall, and most testers have it, is that if the corn is too hot, it won't read. I think the sample has to be under 130 degrees if I remember right. I pull a sample as soon as I drive up, unload the front hopper of the semi and by then the sample is cool enough to test.
