Subject: RE: How to stop a truck from burning engine oil.

Statesville, NC
I tried Schaeffer oil and like it very well. A year ago I bought a high mileage Ford Taurus for my 16 year old daughter. At a dead idle when hot the oil light would flicker. Any throttle and it would go away. Changed oil with motorcraft oil and still the same. Changed oil again with Schaeffer, same weight, and after a few hundered miles the oil light quit coming on at idle. Has not been on for over six months now.
