Have a 2001 gmc Sonoma 4-wheel drive with about 240,000 miles. Oil has been changed regularly, did buy the truck new. Takes about 2 guarts every 3,000 miles. any good stuff from Wal-mart or Autozone to put in help it from burning oil or is my engine ready to blow. Runs great no strange sounds from the engine area.
