North Central Illinois | Me bitter? Oh hell no. What in the world do I have to be bitter about? I can handle being wrong and don't gloat when I am right. I know that is unfamiliar to you but try to understand. I am very blessed in my life and will live to fight another year. Very comfortably I might add. A once in 90 year drought is exactly the reason I have been buying crop insurance for all these years. Having a really strong APH with trend adjusted yield and harvest price option makes it even sweeter. No farmer that I know wants to farm for insurance. Insurance is something you hope you never need. However, I have played by the rules established by Uncle Sam and paid my premiums all these years so I won't feel guilty about drawing a big claim this year. I would much rather be combining 200 bu corn but is just wasn't meant to be this year. I have also survived a year with cancer. Bitter? Absolutely not. I feel very blessed. | |
