on the price of corn and beans i would run the head as slow as possible. lots of butt shelling can take place at the head if you speed it up. pay yourself to do a good job. combining isnt a race.


get out many times to check losses and dial in the head and machine. use the harvest track, it can help you a lot to prevent losses if you get into hills or bad spots.
