I wonder how Cat is going to take this, International is using their engine and calling their own and International builds Cat trucks. I wonder if Cat trucks will be availible with Cummins engines :).


That Cat truck is a Paystar 5600, just massaged a little. Built in the Paystar plant in Texas. The engines are Maxxforces built in partnership with IH/Cat, so really you are getting a Paystar with a Cat emblem. Too bad, I prefer the Paystar grill and hood over the Cat.

The Maxxforce 15 uses a C15 block, oil pan, crankshaft, and a few other parts. Other than that, it is a navistar engine. Not sure how much say Cat had, but I bet they are slamming their heads against the wall!!
