Thats a good point. I have had some very good yielding non gmo corn in the past. But if we didnt have the advanced chemistries available we would be singing a different tune imo.
And there is still an improvement in quality by keeping insects off... especially in sweet corn. Saving several passes for ear worms could be quite valuable in this case.
