Thanks for photos. Pulling that size load would be but a dream here. I'm guessing the fine for that on any Illinois road would be about $5,000,000.00 (US), or maybe more. Certainly the St of IL would move out of debt & back into the "black" operating budget.

Do your roads hold up to the continual high loads OK? Even the well constructed interstate highways here need to be rebuilt after 4-5 years of 80,000 lb trucks....though admittedly a LOT of 80K trucks!

However, I'm surprised that 550 hp is sufficient for the load. What kind of road speed would they want to achieve w/that load? "Here", guys are ordering 450-550 hp trucks just to pull 80,000 lbs, though I'm well aware it's not needed at all. We do fine with 340-350 hp on 80,000#.
