JohnW -... This rig has a homemade look about it ... noticed a centrifugal clutch. Wonder how they reverse it to pull the splitter back and limit the stroke both ways.
in person it looks factory.  I didn't look real close, but there is a lever to reverse it.  I assume a small transmission of some kind.  On the left side under the engine is a stroke length adjustment.
