Subject: RE: Building a 15" Bean Planter

East Central MN

My brother and I built a soybean planter out of a IH 800 vertical fold Cyclo planter last winter. We wanted 15" spacing and to have 2 30" skip rows for the sprayer to drive in. We decided that we were going to make it a 23 row, 15" spacing with the 2 skip rows. Total coverage came to 31.25 feet.

Each seed box will feed 8 rows, so we added a third seed box to feed the additional 7 rows.
