West Tennessee | i got into a discussion with my mother in law last wk end about kids and common sense. she being a teacher said that kids are smarter now at 5th grade as kids 10yrs ago where at 8th grade. i told her that we are over educating kids now for jobs that make this country work ie. truck drivers, farm workers, factory workers, ect. and in the process they are not learning common sense items. most college age kids don't even know how to change a flat on their cars but can speak 2 foreign languages. | |
