Wheatley, Arkansas | Away from them! We run all Deere tractors, have a 6400 and a 6420 headed to the sale now. I hope I never have another one of these money pits again.
The 6400 with 7000 hours has not been as bad as the 6420 with 1700 hours. The repair bills on the 6420 this year have been over $8500. Electrical, and drive train problems being the main concerns.
These little tractors are fine when they're well; ours just stay sick all the time. I don't know yet what will replace them but it won't be another German built tractor.
