![](/profile/get-photo.asp?memberid=27628&type=profile&rnd=951) NW Kosciusko County | guess it will help the stalks that didn't give up/die two or three weeks ago and put an ear on. Did some checking on my light soils yesterday and was finding 0 to 17000 harvestable ears per acre and most of those were knubins and/or mispollinated. Hadn't got any rain here till last week. 2"-3.5" last wednesday and Thursday and now 1" -1.5" yesterday and today. Looked at my beans last week before the rains and most looked hopeless or terrible. Looked again yesterday and couldn't believe how good they looked. Hope that you guys that need a rain to save your beans get one soon. | |
