Imagine how much worse the corn crop would be if we were still planting hybrids like we did in 1988. Yes I have areas that will be close to zero, but all in all my corn is probably better than it should be considering what its been through. have to give the breeders some credit. We would be facing an incredible disaster without todays genetics.
