chisel - 7/23/2012 05:24 6 ears per stalk! All kidding aside... 2nd pic is in same field but 1st pic is on outside row. Slight hill and clay soil, but I didn't think pollenation would be this bad. Planted April 15th. 3rd pic is bottom land field with gumbo planted April 19th. Ear on left is in gumbo, and ears gradually got better as I walked out of it. 4th pic is my dad planting. Looks like the guys who planted in March will be the big winners this year.


 We have plenty of that here too, none of it was pollinated though.
