Subject: Help me with my corn drying charge math.

We normally let most of our corn field dry but have terrible stalk quality this year on some varieties. I hand shelled some today at 20.5%. I am anxious to get started as I am afraid our poor stalk quality is going to cause heavy header loss if we wait much longer. I am posting our delivery point drying charges. How do I calculate the actual cost of drying using these numbers and what type of header loss savings (considering the poor stalks quality) should I be expecting by going ahead now at 20% to 22% versus waiting to 15% to 16%? I appreciate any help.
