Central Arkansas | I'd also like to know. Arkansas extension says irrigate when they need water, regardless of crop stage. Stress them early and they never canopy and the worms hit them hard. They also say don't spray a fungicide unless you are fairly sure you'll need it--not automatically. While we have hit 60 a few times, I can count it on one hand. I've inquired about the Dimilin program recommended in MS but not AR. We started our third irrigation today on 38" rows. | |
