Not sure where you are, but the Canadian prairies are loaded with "bareback" tractors. Personally, I wouldn't worry about it too much, you never know when that 3pt may come in handy. I don't think for those ones there is not much price difference anyway. Like mentioned, if you really don't like the arms back there, take them off.
