Read the label. It will tell you what % of total gallonage the product should be for the weeds you are wanting to kill. ie: 50 gal tank @ 1% =1/2 gal of chemical. Without know what formulation of 2-4D you intend to use no one can give you an accurate amount. Yes, if you get it "too hot" the corn plants can / will elbow.
