Search here on NAT for Virginia Veggies recent threads on hydraulic motors and pumps for his sweet corn topper which he has mounted on an old John Deere self-propelled sprayer. This rig uses a rotary mower blade for each row which is powered by hydraulic motor and it would probably do what you want to do in beans.
Doing what you want to do does not sound like brain surgery. Find an old sickle assembly off of a combine header or swather and power it with a hydraulic motor and rig it up to the sprayer and you should be in business. | |
