The biggest question is will you even have enuff moisture to start another crop for cover? I planted oats this spring where we were going to plant alfalfa in august and IDK if Im gonna go thru with it or not now as dry as it is, that seed is too expensive to not get a good stand, thinking maybe wheat now and try alfalfa next year in august.
Choppin silage, then what?????????????
