I should have said accumulator, right after the evaporator and going to the suction port. It was on the low side. The conversion fittings will not fit on the wrong ports. Thinking car system, typing tractor system. My mistake. Like a zillion other GM vehicles it had an accumulator on the right side near the firewall.
