Panhandle of Ne.
Our corn is going to be avg., maybe a little below. Checked some ears today and they pollinated pretty well, but still some aborted kernals. To dang much heat. Our sprinklers that we are only putting about 5 gpa on are suffering. Very uneven. These same sprinklers, with just avg. rainfall always do good. Can see all the "weak" areas in our sprinklers/ground this year ie., sprinkler packages. Going to have to do some work on that for next year. Beets for the most part looked real good until the last week or so. All the diseases that don't normally show up on hot/dry years are showing up for some reason this year. Has our field man and seed rep. buffaloed.

Dryland wheat was really pretty good considering the small amount of moisture and basically now snow fall the crop had. On the other side of the coin, have a neighbor that is an excellent wheat and bean farmer make only 51 bpa on 120 bu. straw. To much frost damage.

I believe we would have an outstanding crop, even without the rain, if the temps. would have just been normal. I know for sure this crop is the most expensive crop we have ever raised!!!

How is your stuff looking?
