I have one of these in the top of my water tank for spraying water. White poly tank that sits outside. Algae never seems to give us trouble. Our water is fairly rusty and full of minerals. The valve works for a few days and then sticks and we run water on the ground again. Any hot tips to keep it clean? If not is there a better option for shutting off my water?
