Central / West Texas | As per past experience put some metal pieces over the vac line like they do on electric wires going through studs. Your sheetrock guys will most likey run a screw through your vac line. aLSO, can anyone tell me why I so many times see builders using these huge lvl's to support upstairs floors, and or roofs and then set them on 2x4s. I have alot of similar lvls supporting 2nd story floor joists and used 2x6 and then sheeted them with osb before sheetrocking. Seems like alot of wieght on some little sticks only held together with sheetrock. $1.50 a square foot for 5 1/2"s of foam is what they get here. | |
