SW Indiana | I agree. Some seed field are being disked down and going to green beans under the pivot. Our early seed fields have pollinated and many ears have less than 10 kernels. I've never ran so much water on a crop. I know of some that yield checked at 3.6 bu. per acre and the company wants to keep it because they need the seed badly. Hopefully other areas of seed production can pick up the slack because we aren't helping next years supply much. | |
