SE PA | Aerial seeding is fairly popular but the weather has to cooperate. The worst that could happen, with as dry as it is in your area, is you fly them on now and get a quarter inch of rain that makes them sprout. Since it's so dry they'd probably die as there is no moisture below. However, if you get a few rains this would probably work.
If you get a decent stand you may not have to chisel in the fall. They usually grow until the middle of Nov or later in your area. | |
