mascoutah, IL | +1 Flatlick. I have looked at many fields corn fields that are lush green that did not polinate. I've been beating myself up thinking my stuff looks worse. Been walking fields the last few days and my cactusus polinated better than the green corn across the road. Remember the plant will sacrifice itself to make an ear. The green corn with no ear does not need as much moisture plus the really drought tolerant corn will roll up quicker on a hot dry day to protect itself.
