It's pretty good ground. Good topsoil. Should be able to make 150 bushel corn in a pretty dry year. We were told by a good source that there was a couple of brothers that said "we WILL own that ground" but the owners had put a clause in saying that the guy who's been farming it had the right to make the last bid. It's right across the road from his house and like I said he's been farming it so he knows what it can produce. There was some real garbage not too far from us that brought about 1800 here a few weeks ago so I'd suppose that stuff should be worth at least 3500 if you're comparing.
