Wroxeter Ontario | In this corner of Ontario, our last rain was June 17. Good showers as close as 5 miles but that doesn't make my withered corn feel any better. I feel for the corn belt guys as they watch their crops slowly disappear in the heat. People say " At least the prices are up, you know". Well, we forward sold a bunch in the spring when it looked like a record crop being planted in the U S. Now there might not be any extra bushels to sell at $8. I can only find peace in the fact that God will help us thro no matter what comes. | |
