i had a few garbage bags full of trimmings and i just burned them. if i had more than that i would take to the landfill. no good place to dispose of it around the farm. does not lend itself to any reuse that i would want in a new house.

edit. those viberating muti tools work great for the trimming. maybe you already discovered that.
