West Central Alberta Coldest, wettest edge | I've seen that figure before, and wondered if that is net loss, or gross, Does desert only increase, or is it also shrinking somewhere else? I've seen pictures from China, and it is scary how fast it is increasing.
One thing I've noticed about most of these alarmist statistics. They all occur somewhere that the average person is never going to go, to prove it for themselves. Its always in the arctic, greenland, antartic, or in the ozone layer, the desert, coral reef, they never seem to occur in Manhattan, or anywhere easily verified. |
