Brother in Law is a scout. Said he saw HEAVY rootworm feeding this year. I realize you have VT3 but they actually have to eat to die and if there is enough of them.... well, you get the picture.

Have you checked for RW? I think a lot of guys are going to go back and use soil applied insecticides. For what 44-92 has been yielding for me (really well) the last 3 years... I'd be money ahead if I put my insecticide boxes back on. I just hate handling the stuff.

I had some corn go down with this last rain too. The corn couldn't put down brace roots because it was so dry and the ground was crusted from the heavy rain in early May. The roots where about 6" long and horizontal over the soil surface. If they found a ground crack they did go in. I see now the brace roots are actually penetrating now that the soil softened up so hopefully it alleviates some of that problem. Yes, its DKC.
