EDIT: If not, somebody is getting ready to be steamrolled who is stuck in a position meaning the top could be very near. I harken back to the cotton top of last spring.
EDIT: Obama could make the move early next week to get in front of Romney announcing his VP choice. The eyes would turn away from what Obama could possibly do and all media attention would turn toward Romney. It would be a great move to get the media off of your back and the focus turned elsewhere. Remember all of the coverage of Palin in 2008. There was little if anything talked about until the wheels started coming off with the credit crisis and housing prices collapsing.
