Subject: Fungicide application methods... which is better?

Columbia Basin, Ephrata, WA
Ground rig, airplane, or through irrigation?

We're just about to put fungicide out on the edible beans, and I'm not sure which way to go. The beans are in 22" rows, and have completely closed the rows now. Airplane is easiest, one phone call and no sprayer tracks, for a price. Through the pivots is also easy, but the chem gets pretty diluted and it always seems like a pivot always decides to have a malfunction on that one pass. I have a 4700 sprayer, and could apply that way. My weed post spray tracks are still kind of visible in the fields- would plant injury now that the beans are bigger and have closed the rows cause problems or make the beans more susceptable to disease?

Which way would you go?
