East Prairie, MO | I've got some 1/4 milers that are 6 towers, Zimmatic does that a lot around here when Weight per tower isn't as big of an issue (in the sand for instance) in an effort to hold the cost of the rig down. I just put up a 1/4 mile Reinke a few weeks ago (7 tower) so I'll answer the cost per acre on my system, mine is also running 1/2 circle windshield wipe and gets 65 of an 80 for a per acre cost on the 65 of $1,600/acre. So on a full circle it would be a little less than $800 since you wouldn't have to have the end-of-field stop mechanism. | |
