I thought that most pivots for 1/4 sections were 7 tower pivots? Are your spans different or is the field not a full 1/2 mile wide?
We as farmers always get really hung up on equipment, fertility, weed control, fungicides etc but its amazing how when we don't get water, we have nothing.
Our spans are 205' wide x 6 sections + 30' overhang = 1260' total length
This parcel of ground is very flat, so we could get by with the wider spans. |
