central - east central Minnesota -

Buck S - 7/16/2012 19:24 I thought you had such a great crop coming?? And no I wouldnt injure the plant in any way intentionally, especially since Goss Wilt is showing up more and more in MN. I got hailed out pretty hard Friday afternoon. I will let you know how I do with no tassels left.

Ya, so far so good, it's looking pretty great -
Next week ? Could be not so great . . . . . .
Here are some pic's from around 5 ish, this afternoon. . . .
The short corn is where a driveway to the pasture used to go - very wet and compacted when planted. That corn is showing stress.
There are some fields around, that were kind of mudded in - they are showing stress . . .
But, for the most part, the dry land fields around me look good with no leaf rolling or color changeing of the plant -
Next week could be much different, with no rain . . . ..
We haven't cought a sugnificant rain for more then 4 weeks - had a 1/10 over the weekend.
