With the conditions this year, is anyone going to back off corn population next year..??...I am south of route 16 in Illinois....lighter dirt....We have been pushing population the last few years...planted about 31,000 the last two years....Everyones corn is bad down here this year, but I think I would have more corn if I would have planted 24-26000 like we used to.
.

I will tell you after we get our test plot results in. I have a test plot from 28 to 42,000. If you tell me what the weather is going to do next year, I will tell you how thick to plant it. :-)
