southern MN | Sounds good on paper. :) Beating the land and pests into submission to make the plan work, and being flexable enough with the plan to fit your situations is the key.
As you take away meat, milk, and garden produce, you;ll need to import P & K to the soils, or you are still mining your soil - if you take manure from the pastures, over the years the pasture will suffer. Just basic math.
