Central ND | I was on a coop board of a tiny coop in a tiny town. The applications we used for a new manager position asked the same question. As far as I can figure, that question is asked to see how realistic a applicant is with their expectations and to test their knowledge of our monetary system, not to take advantage of a new employee. One gal wanted to be paid 60,000$ starting wages /w/ benefits/insurances/ for the 5 day a week position we offered and she had never managed anything, had no college education or accounting skills but had run a small town store till for a while. We had to tell her we didn't have the means to pay that...... There probably wasn't a management position for any business in the whole county that paid that at the time. She said, not interested then...... | |
