NC Iowa | heard in west suburban chicago area, they have to bus in fast food workers, and have to pay like $15/hr to get them. in small town iowa, i would say more like $7.00. seems like some employers like to take advantage of an applicant's eagerness for a job. have to watch for that. my daughter's first job was making pizza for $7.00/hr at the most well known c-store in iowa. i didn't know it, but the store manager made her work 1/2 hr a day off the clock. there eventualy was a law suit about it, and she got a decent settlement. | |
