Subject: RE: Murphy do you have YA on your crop insurance?

USA
Numbers don't add up. If you have 5 year APH history of 58 and year 6 was zero = 48.3 APH.

If you have YA, yield plug would be 34.8 for a zero yield reported this year. Would lower your APH to 54.1.

Lets say bean settlement price is $14 bu . If their insurance pay you on zero yield , you have gained an extra $487 on APH yield income.

4 bu yield APH hit over the next ten years = 40 bu. $487 @ 40 bu about $12 bu . Don't see that you will take it in the shorts big time if have have YA on your crop insurance policy over the next ten years.
