The belly pump in those was about 850 psi hydraulic. Do you have a pump by the distributor? The last one of those I had, the gear train to the distributor was so wore that when the hydraulic pump would get under load, the spark timing would be slow. Some guy have used a hydraulic pump driven at the belt pulley drive for auger hoppers.

I pulled my 490, 28 foot disk out of building with a 560. It didn't have enough hydraulic pressure to unfold the wings.
