SC Iowa | If the TA pulls OK in direct and low side of TA it is not out. If by "rolls" you mean it will coast down a hill in low side of TA then the over run clutch pack in the TA is bad, it is still OK to use that way, just use direct when going down hill. Make sure the clutch pedal linkage is adjusted to 1" free travel at the floor board. Then to adjust the TA dump valve linkage, make sure the lube light is on with the clutch pedal down, put tractor in gear and raise pedal slowly, the lube light should go out just before you feel the clutch start to engage. If the low side is out you can leave it in high side but the dump valve still needs to be adjusted properly. | |
